Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use our platform, we collect usage data including pages visited, features used, and search queries. We do not collect fishing catch data, vessel locations, or any operational information unless you explicitly provide it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the RedRun platform, deliver personalized content and recommendations, process subscriptions and payments, send service-related communications (account verification, billing, EO alerts if opted in), and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Sources
The fishing data displayed on RedRun — including escapement counts, emergency orders, weather conditions, and ex-vessel prices — is sourced from public government agencies including the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), NOAA, and CFEC. This data is publicly available and we aggregate it for ease of access.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe/RevenueCat (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, privacy-friendly page view tracking — no personal data is collected. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data from your account settings. To delete your account, contact us at privacy@redrunfishing.com. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and regular security audits. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
